LS1 Extreme; Will it fit

I've got a buddy who wants to put an LS1 in to an S-10 Extreme. The only thing hes worried about is it actually fitting in the truck. Does anybody have any idea if that will work? Any input is appreciated..thanx

Yes it will fit. I can't remember the site but a company in Michigan makes a kit.

there is one around here that has an ls1 it look like it fit allright.
