LS1 Mod Timeline

feb 3 2004....stock....dyno......238 Max HP

feb 15 2004....stock...1/4mi.....14.5@98.6mph..... 2.3 60'

mar 27 2004....SLP lid, texas rumbler catback, free ram air, descreen & port maf sensor.....1/4mi.....14.2@102mph...2.1 60'

may 22 2004....added pacesetter EGR/AIR LT headers & new plugs, wires and updated hydrolics.....dyno....271 max HP

may 22 2004.....1/4mi........14.0@106........2.4 60'

drove from albuquerque NM to waco TX.....25-27 mpg highway.

stay tuned for more mods.......here is the order:

subframe conn.
Spec stage 3 clutch
nitto drag radials
preditor programming


haha.....then comes the rims & stereo!

Damn man, im just browsin the LS1 section cuz its late but you need to get that 60' down bro. I know a guy with a 98 LS1 Z that ran 13.3 bone stock except for a cutout. You should easily be a low 13 second car but you gotta hit closer to a 2.0 60'. Traction must be a problem huh?

its the higher elevation.....just take a second off his time and that would be his time at sea level....so basically hes runnin 13.0 1/4 miles

MOD UPDATE:

spec stage3 w/ billet steel spec flywheel,

13.9 @104.6....2.3 60'

*heres the result of mistaking 2nd gear for 4th @ 105 mph!*
