Hey im from san diego ca. and I dont have the luxury of 93 octane gas here just 91. I wanted to boost up my octane a little to get more horsepower for friday night racing how should I go about doing that?

Just go to some auto parts store or even wal mart and buy a bottle of octane boost. I think that outlaw octane boost works pretty well. but there are alot of different brands to chose from just pick the one you like best and see how it works.

Why, are you pinging? If you are not you are good. Octane booster is one of the biggest scams. The fact is you will not gain anything without tuning your car to take advantage of the increased octane. You will just be throwing your $ away. Also when octane booster says "Will raise octane by 7 points" That does not mean your octane will go from 91 to 98, it means it will go from 91 to 91.7. Think about it, if it was so cheap to raise 7 points, why would anyone buy racegas!!!!

The word is that if you use a additive, do it every other tank and not back to back..
