Question Average milage per tank?

What is the normal milage per gas tank, I only get about 215 with a M6. I have had the car a short while is this below average?

215 is driving pretty conservitively, if my foot is heavy I get under 200.

Also depends on if you're doing a lot of highway driving.

What is the most accurate way to calculate miles per gallon?
I have heard a few different formulas.

Yep thats it. Run down to empty, fill it up. drive it until its empty again then fill it all the way back up Take the amount of miles you drove and divide that by the number of gallons it took to fill you back up. Thats how I do it.

I usually get around 240. I live in LA and am in traffic about one hour plus a day. I would have better mpg if I didn't have to sit in traffic.

I just did about 350 miles on a tank in my 2000 Z28 A4, it was pretty much all highway, usually im driving around town, and it gets very low mileage, like... down to 15 mpg or worse sometimes, I like to get on it hehe.

I always fill up at 175 which is a 1/4 tank remaining, because I don't want to run the risk of burning out my fuel pump.
