97 z28 (stock) vs 01 mustang

Hello everyone, Im new to this forum and just bought a 97 z28 a4 with 70,000 miles on it. (completely stock) I have a friend of a friend that just bought a 2001 mustang gt m5. (I think he has the cold air kit on it.) He wants to run them for 150.00 bucks. I looked up the stats and they seem pretty even. Was just curious if Im gonna be 150.00 poorer? lol Anyways thanks for any advice.
