next question what is the cheapest way to get to 400 rwh. again any variation or opinion is greatly apreciated. please itemize your list(put cost next to item) and if you don't mind please put estimated horsepower gains with each mod next to it thank you oh so much.

Ok well I dont know no how much I can Itemize it but Ill try to the best of what I know.

As for the 400 rwhp Id do a head cam swap.
As for a cam. GMPP makes a good cam that will make 50-60 hp for around $300

The heads I would probably just have yours ported and have a valve job done. The price and hp can vary widely on this. But a good job looking at $1100 range and the hp depends on how you have the heads done.

To get a 12.00 flat I would do all the above then

Full exhaust.
LT headers. from wherever you like. I like Jet Hot. They are 560 shipped and will make around 10-15 hp.
Then a good y pipe and cat back. Get a y pipe to fit your system ( they are all about the same really) That will cost around 200. And then I would go with a SLP LM cat back with a dynomax bullet muffler in place of the resonator to quiet it down that should cost about 400.00

Then I would upgrade the induction. CAI. 120.00ish. 5-10 hp (better throtel responce)
A high flow Lid 90.00, High flow bellow. 30.00, Bigger MAF SLP 150.00, High flow filter 40.00. 20hp give or take some.

Then I would get a Torque converter like a 3000 prm stall. That will cost around 500.00 I think.

Then I would get a lower set of gears. 3.73 for an A4, 4.10 for a stick. They cost about 180.00 plus the 90.00 install package.

Then I would get a set of cheater slicks they will cost about 300.00 if you dont get rims with them.

After all that I would have the car dyno tuned to bring out the maximum amount of HP you can get and I have no idea what that will cost.

I think that should put you in the realm you are looking at. and if it didnt give a squirt of n2o . Just my 2 cents.

For your dyno tuning I would strongly suggest using MC Racing here in Kansas City. I have not been there yet but will be in the near future. I have heard very positive things about the tuning they do for decent price. Check them out here MC Racing
