buying Z-28

Hi,
I am 98% sure i am going to buy a Artic white 2002 z-28 today. The price is 24,860. I am confused over all the makes and model differances. When I try and look it up in the book there are only the aniversary Z-28 edition(this car does not have all of the emblems and stuff) or there is the Camaro. But this car is clearly a Z-28 with all the bells and whistles, but only a anniversary logo on the dash. What does this mean? and what am I buying? the car has 6,000 miles on it. Help me if you can,thanks...

Are you sure it is a Z28 "V8 motor". Did the previous owner take the Z28 badges off. If so, you would notice a slight differance in the paint because when I took my badges off, it peeled the paint. Does the speedo go to 155mph? Does the motor have the LS1 intake manifold on top of the motor (looks like a bunch of rainbows going back and fourth). If you answered yes to all the above, it sounds like a Z28 but ask why they took off the badges.

Look at the lable in the glove box door where the manufacturer codes are. It should have the code "Z28" if it is. Every thing about the car is listed in those codes.
