Talking Restoring an 89 Iroc Z Convertible

I just got a one owner 1989 Iroc Z Convertible in a trade for some comic books and have some questions. Here is my situation:

The car is a one owner, red convertible, 305 TPI with 104,000 miles on it. The structure of the car is in great shape and it has service records for very regular oil changes and service and the dealership where it was purchased. Head job done at 65,000 for preventive maintenance. No body work has ever been needed but the car is nasty. The interior is filthy and dogged out and the paint job has totally faded due to neglect. The rag top is only a few years old and in good condition. When I first got the car it had a nasty manifold leak due to a missing bolt. I had them put on a Flowmaster with new turndowns while they had it. Now the car sounds and runs good but looks like crap.

I want to restore this car to factory as much as possible on the interior and make it a cool weekend rider for me. Is a local trim shop my best alternative or are there some online places where I can get the parts/kits that I want to do the work myself.

Any suggestions you can give would be appreciated.

I would have to say that doing the interoir is not that bad of a job to do yourself. I myself am in the process of restoring my 84 z28 camaro and i just got done stripping down the whole interior. Check out this site. they have a large selection of items to choose from and a ton for the interior on the camaro.
