Special Edition 94'

Guys, can any of you tell me what this car may be worth... I have a chance to buy it.

94 Special Edition Convertible - Black/Tan top/tan leather
M6 - LOADED!!!!! You could eat off this car and even off the undercarriage.. It has 5,200 original miles on it and has never been driven in the rain.. The original owner bought special ordered it and has the window sticker laminated.

I have no clue!

Help an LS1 owner out if ya' can...

Thanks.

10,000 (wild guess) maybe more. Sounds like a rare find. I paid 7500 for my 94 with 62000 on it in December '02. Nothing like that one though. It's a new car for all practical purposes.

So what makes the car a "special edition"??? I like what you're saying about it. Sounds like the car I would like to stumble upon.

Guys, thanks for the input!!!

I clarified this with the owner last night... It was special "ordered," not a Special Edition.

He's asking $11,800.00 for it which seems reasonable.

I'll try to get a copy of the window sticker and post it...

Thanks again...

I would most definitely like to see what's on the window sticker, and why it had to be "special ordered."

For all intensive purposes, this is a COPO, isn't it guys???

Seeing what the differences are could make a HUGE impact to the rareity(SP?) of the vehicle.

11.8K for a 94 with 5200 miles is a good buy, bottom-line. What state is the car located in?

I bought my 94 Z28 Conv. new in Feb 94 and the sticker was 27,8xx something. TransAms tend to be about 1500 more though all else being the same. The big options are power driver seat, A4, and CD player. It is cloth not leather. Just giving you and idea. Hell, it may be one of the first 4th gen convs made. Wish I knew how to tell.

Talking IF you could find another one...priceless

This impossible to find drop top was "special order" with FACTORY tan leather and tan top. Leather was a complicated issue for the re-release of the Z-28, only available late in production and I believe possibly less than 200 hundred were produced with this combination. A 6-speed manual trans (with skip-shift) is one of the amazing options that makes it so special.
**This car was purchased new and garage kept for 8 years.** Finally introduced on the road in 2001 with 312 miles, it now has 6200 carefully driven miles and remains a family heirloom. I have searched the Dupont Registry, Ebay, Hemmings, various Camaro sites and the far reaches of the internet and have not been able to find another like it anywhere! The window sticker has, in fact, been laminated for preservation purposes and will be posted with other photos for viewing at a later date.

I passed on a 96' z-28 blk, blk leather, blk top, and had a 6-speed that was like new. I think it had around 70k on it(the car was for sale about 5 or so months ago). I could have picked it up for around $6000.
