car bogging out

ok well basically when i start my car and take off and i give it gas it will put out to where ive got nothing then kick back to normal in like 6 seconds........just got new jet hots and h pipe put on did not do it till after ???? suggestions please

did you hook back up your o2 sensor?

Usually O2 sensors fail after a header install. You can scan the PCM to see if it stored anything relevant to your problem. I would break in the headers a little then replace your O2 sensors. Also check your wiring to them and make sure it's not contacting the exhaust.

yes changed the back to the front and bran new backs

HERRRRMMMMMMM well next thing id check would be the MAF sensor.

Front and rear are not interchangeable. They have different connectors for that reason.

ls1 has egr is that why the checg eng light is on?? mas ends are bran new

ill find out more about those sensors .......but why would it bog evvery time o start it except in the mornigs

Because it is in open loop on cold starts and doesn't look at the O2's. I'm 90% sure that your problem is the O2's. Like I said, I don't think you can't switch front to back because they are different.

Good call Lyle. This is a good post. I would look at the things Lyle suggested, they are all good things to check. It does sound like an EGR or an O2 sensor problem to me.
