buying and selling an SS for profit?

My friend bought a clean 2000 Z28 for 6,000 at a auction in a small town by where I live and he made sure everything worked and he sold it for 25,500. I don't know about you guys but I'm amazed and I would like to buy a 2002 SS six speed for around 10,000 and see if i can get 35,000 to 40,000 out of it. Think it's worth it?

Your friend got lucky and found an idiot b/c that buyer got up the on that one. Do you know where one is for $10,000, or are just guessing you could find one that cheap. You would be more likely to get $25,000 for it if it's in good shape and has low miles.

I've seen one go for 10,000 before. So i thought i would try to make a little bit of money off one. The auctions are nice because nothing goes for too high of prices......you can find new cars and get them cheap. Looking throught Deals on Wheels, I usually see high priced 02 Camaros so i thought i could give it a shot.

Hey,
Yea, I would defiently like to find out the location of these SS's and Z28's that are going soo cheap. Are they wrecked or what? If they are in good condition, I would definetly like to get on that.
See ya on the road,
Matt
