nope...your cowl is too far forward and too low. the only way to make it fit would be to chop your cowl.

the motor just sits so far back for weight distrobution. Look at the back of your intake, you will see that the back 4 inches of it are under the cowl, and the cowel only sits about 3 inches above it..

i hope that made some sence

If your talking about the Magnusen Magna-Charger which I believe is the only roots blower for the LS1 then yes it will. I don't know where chris got his info but I called Magnusen and they said it would fit with no problem. The only problem is that it only adds between 100 and 120 horse and when I called earlier this summer they said it would be somewhere around $6000. They said they would make me a deal and sell it to me for $5200. What a rip off. Some of the centrifugal superchargers make more power and cost a whole lot less.

Hey Cooley...

Thanks for that update. I dont know this for sure but I would think that if you wanted to make a little more boost with that roots style blower then you could just swap out the pulley on the nose. But from what I have heard LS1's dont really like to have that much boost shuved down their throat. Seems like most guys that are running some type of FI car that have gone crazy with boost end up destroying their motor? Like I said I have basically no experience with SC on LS1 cars so if im wrong line me back out

call magnachargers @805 289 0044, ask to talk to Ed lour, Tony Totoki, or Jud Rymers...You will see that there is not one available because of the windshield cowl placement on the cars. Their Engineers are still working on a lowered manifold to facilitate it, but that causes air restrictions wich would result in minimal gains..Some people have had luck with fabbing a lowered K member to lower the engine and then using a c5 kit, but the cost of this would be in the 12,000 dollar range. I have done my homework on this and didnt go into detail because it wasnt needed, but if you have any more questions, i will be more than happy to assist. Jud Rymers is a friend of mine so I do get updated on this problem...but feel free to call any of those guys. Tony Totiko is probably the most knowledgable of the bunch so you should ask for him...

Thats just the way it is.

hers a link to the available magnachargers....notice there is not one available for F-bodies..http://www.magnacharger.com/systems.htm

c5 with magnacharger...notice the window cowl...see how far back it sets
on stock configurations, the cowel falls over the 8th intake runner on the c5, but on the f-bodies, it falls over the 5th..

now ...look at how far back ours sets...
