The C5 wheels are very nice looking on a Z but you need to do some treatment to the brakes to spruce them up a little because the C5 wheels are so open. Im not sure if you are talking about the stock 00-02 Z28 wheels or the stock SS wheels? Either way I think that they are nice looking wheel and look very nice.

Thin spoked, powder coated the color of your car with a chrome lip.

Thanks alot man!!! I really appreciate it.
Something I noticed about my wheels is that they look ALOT better with the body kit on. With that kit off they are just OK but the kit helps the wheels and the wheels help the kit. JMO

Hay Bowtie,

I was wondering why you went with the 3.23 gears and not the
3.42 or the 3.73. just wondering ? I want to do some 3.73 GM gears.

The chrome Z06 rims look spectacular...I'm heavily considering them for mine, I've already painted the calipers/pads red, and put slotted/cross drilled rotors on...so I need em to be shown more!

I have made my mind up about the wheels I will get. Black z06 with chrome lip. My car is pewter, and with a little height adjustment I think that will look sick. As far as the c5 rims, I think they are a little too open looking for our cars.

I have had the rear end apart so thats a good question. The awnser is that I wanted to keep my good fuel economy because this is my daily driver. So when they put it all back together with nicer stuff I just had them put the stock gears back in. Think about it this way. If I raced a stock Z with 3.23 against a stock Z with 2.73's how bad would I beat him? Not really all that bad. So a jump from 3.23 to 3.42 or even 3.73 isnt worth it to me personally because I would loose some of my fuel econmy on the top.

I know this is getting completely unrelated lol...

So a 3.73 will really kill my fuel econ eh? That's what I want to put in though
