2000 Z28 Fs!!

Its time to sell my camaro and get into something a little newer. Its a 2000 Z28 with 63xxx miles. It has a automatic, and 3.23 rear end. It has been maintained VERY well. Castrol GTX oil changes every 3000 miles. Not abused at all. The interior is in perfect condition with no defects anywhere on the Leather seat, carpet, or dash. It has a Monsoon CD player stereo that sounds great. Power Everything. The exterior is also in excellent condition its indigo blue and is absolutly beautiful. The only defect is a VERY small door ding onthe passenger side rear quarter that was there when I got the car. Not noticeable.

Now for the good part. I have installed Edelbrock Shorty TES headers, O2 sims, SLP Loudmouth Cat Back with dual/dual tips. SLP Air Box Lid, SLP Cold Air Intake, K & N Filter, SLP Smooth Bellow, Descreened MAF. Eaton Posi rear carrier, Thunder Racing Rear End Performance cover and stud kit. Hypertech tranny tuning & speedo correction. Corvette ZO6 Polished Alum. 18 x 9.5 Wheels with Kuhmo Ecsta 275/35/ZR18, Xenon Body Kit, Rear window and brow tinited at 4%, Headlight, tail light, and parking light blackouts. The car currently has 8 coats of fresh Zaino Wax.

Recent dyno run produced 305 RWHP & 323 RWTQ on a day that was about 80-85 degrees 90 % humidity ( it rained on the way there that day) and I had to dive a hour to get there. Im sure that was at least 15 hp under what its potential was.

I am asking 16000 OBO on her. You can get ahold of me any way you want to. Leave a message hear, PM me, email me, or call me on my cell at 618-237-7884 my name is Nic.

P.S. I will post pics tomorow but for now the pic in my avatar will have to do. Please ask any and all questions as I am more than happy to awnser them.

Sam it's all good! Don't worry, he's trading up for a 1 of 50 2002 Firebird Formula Blackhawk with only 15K. He's still going to be in the family, and I am proud to say I helped solidify his decision to get it.

Yep Im staying in the happy f body family for sure. I want the Blackbird and am trying to work out a deal on it now, we will see if we can get it down to where I can afford it. If I cant get that then it will be a 02 WS6 TA. So either way I wont betray you guys I promise. I Z will be making a valiant sacrifice to better my standing in the car realm111

Well the actuall blackhawks were really bad ass. There were only 50 made and they were basically a WS6 that GMMG bumped up to 385 horse, then they installed stuff like different wheels, lowering springs, badges and a few other little cosmetics. The car that I am looking at is not technically a blackhawk. The car I am looking its is basically a half Blackbird. Heres the story ...
There were 50 Blackbirds (blackhawks) built in the begining of 02. They had sold them all in the first 3 months. So another customer placed a order for a second 50 cars. Well About half way through while they were working on some of the cars they get a call from an attorney saying that for what ever reason ( i dont know) they cant build anymore blackbirds. So after researching the deal they find out that all they can do is the asthetic work to the cars. They are not allowed to do any of the performance mods that the original 50 have. So they turn out about 20 or so of these cars that basically just have the Eibach prokit drop springs, AR wheels, White face gauges, WS6 hood (they are formula cars) and the badges. They also had to call the cars "35 Year Anniversary Year One" Formula Trans Am's. So thats the low down on what a Year One package is. Another neat thing about this hand full of cars is that GMMG will let the owner of the car bring it in and they will install the rest of the stuff to make it a Blackbird. Usually they arent open to the public like that but for those cars they are making an exception.

AAHH Good memory Sam!!! Yes I did have a old TA. It was a 89 TA yes it was blue. It was a bad ass car. 383 stroker sounded like I just drove it off the race track and started using it for a street car. Very Nice!!! I tell ya what. There is something about those TA's that once you have had one they get into your blood or something and youve got a funny connection with em. I have wanted another TA since then... They are addictive.
