broke it

i was wondering if running my car with a broken a c compressor will hurt my car i blew a perfect cirlcle in it dont know how but if i were to turn it on while my car is running my car will shut off any ideas

If the ac compressor is seized, and you switch it on (thus engaging the clutch) it will burn your belt up pretty quickly. What do you mean you blew a perfect circle in it?

well if you look right at the bottom of the ac compressor it looks like a perfect circle how would that happen
