Yeah they'll look awesome. I don't think u'll have to lower it. U'll need to re-program the computer to change to speedometer settings for bigger wheels though, at least that's what I've heard.

well..that too...but..if i use the 18s and 17s with low profile tires it might equal the same as having a 16inch with the larger stock tires..it might not be that much of a difference...i was just worrying about my back end up to high with the 18s and 17s in the front..

Your original tires were 245/50R16. Going by the PLUS concept, you should go to 255/40R17 in the front and 265/30R18 in the rear. That would keep your tire circumference approximately the same as original. If you go with wider tires then you will need to have the computer adjusted for the new size.

I have 18 x 9.5 wheels wearing 275/35/ZR18 tires. My speedo is about 3 mph fast, so when it says your going 70 you just going about 67 or so. So you can live without reprograming the pcm. Also you dont have to make any changes to the pcm because of wider wheels. Your car wont have a clue it has wider tires on it then it did before. I dont think you will "need" to lower it to make it look bad a**, However it will look very good if you do. As you can see my car in my sig is NOT lowered at all and I think its ride if perfect. But I also have a ground effects kit that really helps the wheels out alot.. If you dont have one or arent getting one then I would probably lower it.
