Ok, I know this is minor but....

I have noticed latley that annoying belt noise coming from the engine bay. Can only hear it at idle but it is driving be crazy. Belt looks to be in good shape and the car only has 37k. I know years ago I used to put silicone spray on belts to keep them quiet but I would never dream of spraying anything under this engine bay.

Any tips?

Silicone spray quiets the belts because it is a lubricant. The belt still slips but you can't hear it. There's something called a belt dressing (I think) that you spray on the belt and it should quiet it down and stop the slipping.

It's not slipping. It is just making that noise at idle. You know, I don't know how to describe it, just a "rattle" or slight squeaking noise. The belt is not slipping.

The tensioner can be bought from Thunder by itself,i believe like 80.00, they also make there's with a wider lip for those cars that are pushing more power throwing belts, you dont need to worry about that for awile Chris..

Might check out ebay for a belt tensionr. I know when mine went out and was making noise I found a polished alum. idler pulley for like 35 bucks. If mine hadnt been covered by extended warrenty then I would have got that one. It looks bad ass and I think it even had a replaceable bearing in it.
