NEED Performance Computing Advice!!
I've got a 2002 z28. I'm about to get my solobaric square 12 and my battery replaced/moved to the trunk and all that fiberglassed in. I'm getting my headunit replaced and I was looking at this pioneer headunit that is a DVD/GPS Lcd headunit with performance features such as showing mph, rpm guages, lateral slip, and perhaps a few other things.
I'm looking for a headunit or info on hooking a laptop into this headunit or another receiver/computer to be able to guage different temperatures/pressures, performance variables and whatnot. My question is where can I find something like that and information on it? Also, what type of variables should I be looking for- I'm planning on doing some type of of autocross. I'm also thinking of putting in a hardrive to store mp3s/videos so I don't have to bring my cds around with me. Any comments/suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

Argh
I tried posting in car audio. I also tried posting in some other sections...you've been the only reply so I guess nobody knows anything about this.
 I would really appreciate any advice since I'm gonna start putting together my system and all soon. Thx

Most people on this site do not really care that much about sterios, this site is more oriented to 1/4 mile times, and HP #s.

Might try contacting a good stero shop and ask them if they have anything like that. If they dont if they can get it. I can about gaurentee that it wont be cheap though.

My question isn't mainly related to audio...I'm trying to figure out how I can chart performance variables and better tune my car through a computer head unit. Anyway I figured people into racing would be able to provide some type of information on this...atleast more than people at a caraudio site.
