Z28 emblems

have a 98Z looking to switch the Z28 emblem on finder by front tire, found at rk for 38.95/ea. they have a large and small listed will i need the large one? is that ok price or any body know better deal.. any tips on removing old emblems, and other day i thought i saw a emblem that read Z/28 and mine reads Z28 did i see this right if so whats the difference coundt find one like that at rk sport only .. has anybody switched emblems have any pics? thanks for any help Brian

That should help. That is a 69 Z/28 emblem, those are what I am going to be doing soon.

I know a person that makes the emblems the same size as the factory emblems, and she has many colors to choose from. You can e-mail her for more info: deepsouth@centurytel.net

thanks looks like what i saw, any tips on removing old one,and was told that emblems at camaro&classics go on with speed nuts? what is that will it be hard to do? and how can i make sure its straight? they had two different prices one he said was the better one, looked same to me.. thanks Brian

to remove the current ones on the car just use a regular hair blowdrier. Hit it at a angel, try not to stay in one spot, move around so you do not scorch the paint. as for the 69 emblems, a speed nut means you have to drill holes in the body were the studs on the back of the emblem would go thru. you then have to but the nuts on frm the back side of the fender or tail panel depending on were you are mounting it. I am looking to do this as well, but not till I find one's that stick on like our current one's do.

So just break the posts off and use double sticky back tape.
