New Tires

In less than a month, I will be getting new tires, and was just wondering what some of the good brands and good buys are, price on these suckers isnt really an issue, but it has to be reasonable. any suggestions?

Toyo - Proxies are a great looking and wearing tire, Mastercraft are also great tires with a good rep and low price. If you have the money, I would look into some BFG G force radials, they are similar to the proxies. Falcon makes good tires too but I'm not sure about their life but they have some good patterns.

I have Nittos (so far so good)but I don't drive in snow or bad weather but If I did, I'd get Yokahamas.
BFG G force are good ones too.

I just bought a set of Falken 512's. They were 275/40/ZR17's and cost me $129.00 each including shipping. Consumer reports rated them #1. I also found them a little cheaper here;

BTW, the Falken 512's have a treadware rating of 360 with temp/traction a A/A rating. I think it looks sharp as well. Some of the other brands of tires in my size looked kind of "old man-ish" for my taste. Here is another great site to do a side by side comparison;

I bought my set of Falken's from this company and they where at my door four days later.

Discount Tire is very competetive priced. They have Discount Tire stores in the Detroit area and I buy tires for all my vehicles there. I also got my Z06 style wheels from them.
Falken makes a real nice looking tire. If I had known they were rated so well I would have considered them.
BTW what is considered "old man-ish" in tires? :

I had some Toyo under another car, I think they are a bid noisy. But the quality does well.

BFG's G force KD or the KDW are excellent tires, alittle pricey but I've been really impressed with the kdw.

Been real happy with my Yokohama's, they make a 275/40zr17 that looks really mean. About $168.00 at Discount.
