Taking Apart Dash Today

Well, today is the day...I'm gonna tackle taking apart my dashboard to find that stinkin rattle...it must be up at the very front part, as I can't seem to knock/bump it or anything..I've felt all around in the engine bay, nothing that makes noise near as I can tell.

Anyone have any pointers for me today?

Also, I'm going to be burying my radar detector wire today, across the headliner and down the pillar, and probably hard-wire it to the radio or something..anybody done this before? Thanks

rattles are really hard to locate. I wold just take some sockets and wrenches and tighted all before taking it apart.. my opinon. also have someone ride with you and touch everything and see if you can pinpoint it..

We have...its right up at the verrry forward part of the dash, right where it meets the windshield. No bolts to tighten till we get er open. Nothing in the engine bay making that noise either..sounds like plastic on glass.
