Tell me what you think (pic included)

Do you think that a silver camaro would look good with a black hood, such as this picture, i dont think that the camaro is a z28, but i want that hood and im not sure how much it would cost to get it painted my factory silver color, so basically what im saying is.... do you think that this car looks good with the hood black ?scroll down to look at the silver camaro with black hood

I'd stick to keeping it the same color as the rest of the car.

I agree, paint it to match the car.

One thing you can do is get the hood, then save up and get it installed and painted later.

Jason makes a valid, and might I say timely, point.

I like it, but I do not like the color combination, I rather see a orange car.

Paint to match I think. Somehow it would interfere with the "lines" and clean look of your ride. I think understatement serves muscle cars best!

definetly paint to match, you could always do stripes if you want another color on there, and yeah, what hood is that that is a sweet hood?

You HAVE to paint it to match the car. Leaving it black is NOT a option. I think it looks like the guy didnt have enough money to paint it so he left it in primer. Now I understand that they cost alot, I had a hood I had to wait for a few months before I could afford to get it painted. But I did and then it looked right.

Question how does it work?

I like the design of this hood very much, agressive but still smooth.

Question: How does this airintake works? Anybody have some pictures?

As best I know it dosent come functional but you can cut the back of the scoops out to make it functional. If you do that then it works basically just like a stock ram air hood.

On fiber glass hoods it kinda depends on what qualtiy the fiberglass is and how slick you want it. I had a glass hood that cost about 500 to get it painted
