supra non turbo vs 3.4 firebird

My brother has a 3.4 bird 5 speed and I just bought a 92 supra non turbo auto and we're going to race soon. The supra is my daily driver.

The supra has 3.0 liter 24 valve twim cam 200 hp but I'm getting a K&N/cat back gears cam

He wants to race me cuz there's no way he can beat me on my Z so he was like now you got a v6 so let's race. He has 3.42 gears so it'll be hard for me to beat him.

We're not going to race cuz I'm going to buy a 91 turbo supra 5 speed with down pipe, headers, cam gears, blow off valve instead. The supra is faster.

Aren't Supra's inline sixes? I thoguht they always have been...and even the NA Supra's are pretty good, even if they are an import. I'd say even with only a few mods it would be a tough competition for a v6 F-body. And the turbo one will be pretty tough too. All depends on how much torque you have, cause if you don't have enough, your turbo is going nowhere. I'd also say get some decent tires for it if it doesn't already have any. I thought you were gonna race a stang with that?

It's a 6 inline and it has 232hp and 259 torque. I smoked a 05 v6 stang.
The supra should be pushing 320 rwhp with my mods. I need to replace the tps sensor.

Running power like that you could take on a V8 here and there, lol. You've got plenty of torque to work with there. See if you can throw an intercooler (or a bigger one) in there and maybe throw on a better clutch. Nice car, doggy. Post some pictures if you get a chance.
