Hey guys. I just got a 5in monster tach from a friend. Its an autometer tach. Well heres the question how do i hook it up. I heard something about needing a mudule and having to set it to a 4 cyl engine setting. Thanks for the help.

I would contact Autometer and ask them for some installation instructions. I havent ever installed a tach on one of these ignition systems with a coil per cylinder. Ive done it to the old distributor type systems. But Im sure it will be different on these. I bet Mykdiver has done it! Ask him.

Theres an easy to follow guide on http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...ht_install.htm for installing a shift light. I'd bet it's about the same thing (but I could be wrong).
