Going price for a 2001 SS

Well as some of you guys know I have been looking for a ss . I found another one but it is in Utah Iam in Ohio. Its a 2001 ss pewter with leather and a 6 speed,29,000 miles. He will take 17,000 but i have to pay shipping and dont know what it will cost for that and buy it with out seeing it in person unless someone here lives close to it to check it out.The pictures make it look like new and it is bone stock right now.It does have the bilstein susp package on it from slp.Should I keep looking for one closer or does this sound like decent deal to consider.

Consider yes, but personally I would wait to find one you can drive out to. I'm a little leary of buying a car sight unseen, even though I sold my last one on ebay.

I think iam going and let that one go its just to far and more then i want to put into one by the time i pay for shipping and pay the good old tax on it I will be close to 19,000 thats no fun then i wont have money to do the mods i want to do. I just found a 99 SS,3 hours away from me its a 6 speed, new clutch,3:73 gears, black, leather, corsa cat back with stock exhaust manifolds right now ,I would put LT Headers on if i got it.Its lowered with RK sport springs, needs tires thats ok I want Nitto 555RII on what ever i get anyway,It does have 66,000 miles and says runs good ,no smoke or ticks from engine.Should be able to buy it for 10,500.What you think about that one.

Yeah thats starting to get along way off. There are going to be alot of SS cars like that close to you. Just keep scouring and be patient. If your patient youll end up alot happier cause then youlll have the cat YOU want. Not something you just settled for.

I bought my '01 Z for 14,000 four months ago. It had under 5600 miles on it. I figure, someone PROBABLY can't mess up your car that fast.
