Front License Plate Holder?

I Have The Front License Plate Holder On My From Grill Area, An '02 Factory Type. If I Remove It, And It Looks Like A Torx Will Take The 3 Screws Out, What Will Be Left? Anyone Done It Yet, And Leave Anything "ugly"? What Size Torx If That It? I Don't Have One To Fit!

Yeah you have to watch what the law is in your area, I know in IL your required to have both front and rear plates on.

most states require a front and rear plate but i know there are exceptions, so just check with you local laws and see what you find

Yea its illegal but the past 2 years my cars have not had the license on the front. I had a chevy xtreme and the camaro as well does not have the front plate. Unless you get a **************** cop they wont do anything. Oh and my buddy ran throught one of those camera lights without his front plates on and they didnt say anything.

Yeah, my last two cars didn't have a front plate, the car looks so much cleaner w/o it. The only crap I've gotten for not having one is two parking tickets for no front plate, I just had a buddy of mine in the CHP sign off on them and I was good. (knocks on wood) I also keep the front plate in the car just in case.

I have the plate behind the grill and it looks pretty clean. Front plates required here and haven't had any problems yet, KOW.
