Is my clutch bad?

I have a 01 z28 m6 w/ a zo6 clutch. For the past month the car has progressivly getting slower. It seems like at the begging of each gear it doent launch like it should(almost bogging down a little), especially in 1st and second. I am able to shift into all gears easily. so is this my clutch slipping? I thought when a clutch went out, you would be unable to shift, and the petal would go to the floor w/ no resistance. any advice?

correct me if i'm wrong but if you clutch was going out then it would be harder to get into gear but once your in gear the car should run fine.

it could be that you just need a tune up and this might sound stupid but cheak your air filter also.
lots of times when your air filter gets dirty it will block the passage of air causing your car to run bad.

are the rpm's rising and the car is not moving like it should, drive it and floor it in 6th gear if your clutch is bad the rpm's will rise and the car will not react that's one clue

I clean out my air filter everytime i change my oil. so it should be spotless. my rpms rise in 2nd gear when i get on it and the car doesnt accelerate. It seems to me like the clutch is slipping. Is it possible for the clutch to be slipping like that and still be able to shift easily?

Yes its possible for the clutch to be going and you can still get the car in gear easily. Its not the tranny thats going out its just that your disk is getting old and hot and probably has glazing on it. Put the car in 6th around 45 or so and accelerate and see if the rpms just jump up and the car doesnt go anywhere. Also if you havent changed your fuel filter lately do that as well
