Doing burnouts?

Will it hurt your car to do a burnout. I've only had my '02 T/A for about 2 weeks.

It Depends On If Your Car's Engine Is Broke In. Usually After A 1000 Miles It Should Be Good To Go. Just Make Sure You Do Not Red Line At Any Time. See Ya

It's certainly not going to help you tire mileage. Also be aware that you can get a ticket for reckless driving if a cop see's you doing a burnout.

The only way your really going to hurt it is if you hold the rpms at red line for long periods of time, or something like that. But just under normal burnouts your good to go!

Yeah man, all you're going to do is burn the cash that went into your tires, and if you're fine with that, and you don't redline for a good ten seconds and whatnot, then you could spin the tires all day if you wanted to.

It's time to start tweaking the daily driver!!! Looks first...wheels, grille, taillights, and a shark fin antenna so far...more to come

Still no go-fast-goodies just yet...I's poor, like college poor!

Our cars were made for burnouts, thats the beauty of RWD with big V8's in them. But yea watch out when you burnout, cops will give you a ticket for that. Either prohibition of speed or wreckless driving. Or if i was the cop it would be called a Jack A$$ ticket.

if you do just be careful and make sure you have a real good oil(at least mobile one quality). It's easy to overev the car(especially if you have an M6), and you could bend a valve or even worse, spin a bearing.
