Is it normal for my headlights to flicker???

I've noticed that sometimes my headlights flicker on my 2000 Z.. is that normal??

Depends, my do after a good rev but thats just from where the alternator spins real fast for a moment but when i let off it slows way down then picks back up to normal, just from the load on the alternator.

Mine flicker just every once in a while. If they arent doing it often and your carrying good volts I wouldnt worry about it. Just a little hickup in the electrical system. Not uncommon at all.

Mine'll do it after crusing for a long time, say if I'm pulling to an exit or pulling into a neighborhood...just the alternator changing it's output, that's all.

the lights can also flicker if you have a sub and amp in the car since it causes a greater load on the battery and alternator
