New Brakes are Squeeking

I just installed new drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads. I was told the ceramic wouldnt squeek, and...well they do. other then that, there is much improved braking power. its just annoying. Is there a fix for squeeky brakes?

Sometimes the squeek come from the back of the pad riding on the caliper piston. A special coating prevents that. Otherwise they may just need to be broke in a bit. Try light braking through long distances instead of short, heavy braking.

Been there done that. You definatly need to use those little grease packets on the back of the pad. I did the same thing and took mine back off and lubed em up and now im good to go!

Go to autozone or any parts store and they have little packets of grease for the back of a brake bad. Alot of the time they will give you one with your brake pads. They are propably sitting out on the counter somewhere. If not just ask them for one.
