Heater

My heater doesn't work in the morning when it is cold as hell outside. I let the car warm up for 30 min and still no heat. In the afternoon the heater works good but the air is warmer outside. I took the car to the dealer cuz its still under warranty until next month. They said nothing is wrong with the car...then night no heat again. Anyone know this gremlin? Should I just harass the dealer some more?

Temp

Temp seems to be gettng around 180 and I've seen close to the 210 mark at idle. I think the car warms up normally. Never changed the stat. Thin I should...i think it works...how about the 160 degree stat...?

Thermo is a good start esp since it is relatively easy and cheap to replace. 160 degress is still a very hot temperature to heat up air so I don't think that is it.

I am not getting great heat right now, and I am going to try the thermo first, then next is checking the heater hoses to the heater core. They both should be hot (if one isn't there might be a blockage). Then flush the hoses and heater core. If that doen't work then replace the heater core.
