I have a 98 Z-28 and I want to install a new Billet front grille. How do you get the stock grille off without wrecking it? Do you have to remove the front bumper cover to expose the fasteners?
PLEASE HELP...! FRUSTRATED...! ![]() |

O.K. so what's with that design??? Anyway, is it best to put it up on a hoist to do it? Can you get at the grille fasteners by just loosening off the bottom of the bumper cover? Maybe I should just trash the old grille??? Thoughts...? Comments...?
Still frustrated...! |

Yank it off. It takes some muscle, but you won't hurt anything. I had to do it and was hesitant because it took some effort.

Thanks...
It came off pretty easily, and it did not break! I just pulled it slowly at each side of the fasteners. The new Billet Grille took about 10 minutes to install and it looks awesome... |
