Question about Options

So there's this guy in my unit who says he has a "Corvette Edition" Camaro.
Basically, he's got Corvette (Not Chevy Racing) emblems on his C pillar (Or is it b?) and he's got a dual exhaust. It's a V6.

Is that an option, or is he just trying to feed me some BS?

When he told me I was like "Oh, uh......That's....cool."
Because
A: I thought he was bs'ing me, and
B: It wasn't cool.

haha, sounds liek a bunch of BS to me... it would be a dirty shame if something v6 was to be anywhere near being associated with the corvette name (except back in 53-54 when GM was retarded )

it wasnt a true duel was it? or did it just have two pipes coming out the back. i know some RS or special editions packages came with duel pipes but it wasnt a TRUE duel. if ya know what i mean!!

I doubt it's true dual, but i haven't gotten under it.

Honestly, I have no idea if that is true BUT id be willing to bet that it isnt.

Chevy has NEVER mixed model names (chevette edition camaro, El Camino edition truck, etc...). They have, to some dismay, added monikers to long selling marks, such as adding as SS (Impala-Camaro-truck-cobalt-et al) or a Z (71, 24, 28, L-1 etc..) or merely letters (LS, RS, LT1,). The "brains" at Gm (I know, an Oxymoron) do know better than to do that, which would be a death blow to both models.
