how long will a camaro last?

If you take really good care of your ls1 how long will the transmission last? And how long will the engine last? (give me your estimates in how many miles each can do)

if you don't abuse em...xxx,xxx miles...if you race it ????? miles. Seen plenty of 150k+ street cars out there that are pristine and seen 75k cars that were toast...

i dont know about the newer model camaro's though. what heliskiier said if you dont drive the crap out of it everytime you get into it it should last long. that goes for any vehicle out there today, as long as you drive normal it should be fine!(unless your car was the first one built on a monday or the last one built on a friday)if you catch my drift!

If you dont beat the piss outta it it will last longer then if you did, thats about all I can tell ya lol. Its all relative to the driver habits, matainence, and just overall care of the vehicle.

the previous owner replaced it becuase the original engine kept over heating on them so they went back to the dealership and got it replaced for no charge cuz they b*tched and complained about it to GM until they got it for free.

I had a 150,000 on an 94 v6 camaro. I expect to get at least the same out my Z28 with a stronger LS1.

It doesn't matter what kind of car you drive, if you take care of it, it will last you a long time.

The first thing that went through my mind when I was driving my 'z home the first time was not "I bought this car because I heard it was reliable", I bought it because I love the sound, I love the camaro, I love driving it, I love having a big V-8 in a little car, and I love T-Tops.

It's like any other car; consistent oil changes, don't ignore SES, et cetera.
