Arrow Air horn on LS1...

Has anyone replaced their factory horn with an aftermarket air horn?..if so which brand did you use?..Was the install easy?...any recommendations?

I've never had air horns but as it stands my horns are as follows in my fleet:

'86 Brougham: factory horns
'97 STS: Stock horns off of a early 90s Fleetwood Brougham from the Salavage yard
'68 Camaro: Stock horns off of an ealy 80s Cadillac Deville (full size)
'84 Datsun: horns off of a '96 Roadmaster from the Junkyard

I love loud horns. Can't stands to drive a car with a whimpy horn. I feel like less of a man. And it's unsafe.

I'm right with you i am so embarassed when i blow the horn in my 02 Z. People get mad that i dont acknowledge them and blow the horn at them but it is too embarassing especially when the car is so muscular and then a little clown horn toots. How hard is it to replace the horn? should i bring it somewhere?

Air horns require a compressor and storage tank. You can get louder electric horns.

Why would you want an air horn on an F-Body?

Actually I have alot of fun with the horn. One of my distant cousins brother designed the horn over in texas somewhere. they acutally use it to call cows to come eat. I have tested the horn and it works ....funnest thing you have ever seen.

The best part is sitting at a crowded redlight, with good tint on the windows....hahaha It is and people start looking around for a cow in the road.

Seriously, that's great. I almost want my own cow horn so I can use it at a crowded light.
