Dream Fuel System (To Be Built)

Hello All.

My 69 camaro is showing some dry rot on the lines. Now a normal person would just replace the lines. I'm not all that normal. I see this as an oppertunity. I am going to redo the whole fuel system.

I would like to know if anyone has a completly aftermarket fuel system on there car. If so what parts did you use.

I know its getting a Fuel Cell, Pump, Filters, Braided lines all the good stuff.

"Price Is Not A Problem"

Give me your best Ultimate fuel system.

Its a Strip car if that helps.

Thanks and look forward to some replys

Jason

sounds good man. I will be getting a 15 gal cell. and Russel Lines. I have a Holley Blue pump now. But I am thinking of upgrading to Black.

I noticed under load (reving) the car will stutter for a few seconds but as soon as it gets smoothed out you can rev all day long with out hesitation.

I think this is happening for a couple of reasons.

1. 1/4 tank of gas
2. Fuel pump is in front of the tank.
3. The pump is above the tank.

Now I didn't put it this way but it will be changed.

Below and behind.

Keep in mind I want to upgrade the "WHOLE" system.

So what all is needed besides.

1. Cell
2. Pump
3. Filters (AN matched)
4. Line
5. Fittings

Anything else I can't think at the moment

I want it to look as good as it should perform.

nice price, you gotta love summit Glad you went with the strait feed tank, they have allot that have the fuel hole in the lowerleft for circle track racing. And in drag you dont need that. Looks like a good 1st step

1st step

Yea I hope it works out as well as I hope it does. The cell does have a 2" sump feed so I might have to cut a hole for that in the trunk pan. Its not a hard decision since the trunk pan is not origanal.
