Egr?
hi guys, i am not really new here but have not been on in a while, i drive a 04 Saturn Ion Redline, running 16pounds of boost.... just a quick intro. I am selling that car and looking to get a 4gen fbody prob z28 but was looking at this one and wondering about something in this pic can you guys help me out, Thanks.
 i am looking at the tube going into the slp lid, i have never seen one of those b4 on a whisper lid. is it egr? .... o btw the car is a 02 that is why i do not think it is egr because i could have sworn egr did not come on the 02 because they used the ls6 intake, i am lost as to what that could be can someone point me in the right direction. i think its to the air pump not egr related

its gotta be the air pump. i have something similar on my intake but its more towards the throttle body.

Ya it's the air pump....on my fipkII it mounts underneath the radiator cover,with a little K&N on the end.

thanks guys, i talked to a guy at work and you guys are right, its an air pump that pumps fresh air into the exhaust for smog regs. just threw me off to see it.

Dont forget the Lid, bellow and 85mm maf, and if you look closely headers also lol. Looks the same as my '02 minus the maf and headers
 its all good.
