car is to low for jack

As of right now I can't jack my car up using the rear differential because of my body kit. If I get new springs later on down the road and my car is even lower its gonna be even more trouble. Any suggestions on a type of jack that works well on a lowered car?

I'm not sure if there is a good jack out there that will go that low. (there might be, but I'm not a jack connoisseur!). Easiest way to get under there is to drive up on something like a block of wood or slab of concrete or something, or even a small ramp. This should give you enough clearance to get the jack under there. Just be careful when doing it!

Yeah thats what I had to do when I put my lca's and phr on. I had to back onto ramps then put the jack under and support the differential. the problem is when the jack is all the way under the differential I'm not able to raise the 4' long handle on the jack high enough before pushing down. It runs into the rear facia of my body kit.

Yeah like Mike said the best way it to drive it up on something or in your case back it up on something to do it. No real easy way around it.

Yep best bet is to drive up on ramps than jack the car up and put it on jack stands.

I have a body kit...I jack it under the rear diff until I can slip another jack under the front. Or slip the jack in from the front and jack it on the k member.

Does the aluminum jack from sears work? It lifts from 3 3/4 inches.

Drive your car up on a 2x4 at each tire, should give you enough clearance. If not stack two like a pyrimid and you deff clear. I have done it many times, kept me from having three floor jacks layin around

I'll have to try the 2x4 idea next time. I don't like backing it onto ramps because I have to be real carefull not to go to far up the ramp so the front facia of my xenon kit doesnt get tore up.

Between workin on lowered cars and cars with body kits this was the easiest way I found to do it

The jack that cmes with our cars is a pain in general and its mainly for jacking up the side of the car. Thats why it has that notch in it. I wouldn't feel as safe jacking the car on the differential with that and it would take forever because you would only be able raise the jack a little at a time with it being entirely under the car.
