Could this cause my brakes to mess up???

For a while now, when I brake at high speeds, my car shakes very bad. My Dad and I put new brake pads and rottors in the front on saturday. When we took off the old brakes, they were only half way and the rottors didn't seem to be that warped. The care brakes fine now. Next weekend I'm doing the rear breaks pads/rottors.

The question is... everday when I go to work, I pass through a street that has a lot of pot-holes. It really sucks, but it's the only street that directly takes me into my work. Could these pot-holes hurt my brakes??

Thanks

dont think that would mess up the brakes...I think you just had a warped rotor

The LS1 rotors are very prone to warping. Do you use a torque wrench to tighten down your lugs? Over torquing them and the massive heat they produce will warp them very quickly. Also driving thru puddles with heated rotors will warp them as well. However.. potholes, not so much.
