calipers

when painting the calipers should i paint the bracketsd also?

IMO It looks better when they're both painted. I like offset colors like a black bracket and red caliper. I polished my caliper (its aluminum and wont rust) and painted the bracket (Steel and will rust if polished). Very easy to make an awesome set up for the brakes.

Then I got tired of seeing the rust on everything else... so I painted those too:

wow those calipers look pretty nice man are they hard to keep clean? I just have black ones with silver camaro lettering.

They're super easy to keep clean. Because they're polished, they just wipe right off.

i've been thinking the same thing.... but since new calipers will come soon i'm not the upmost worried about it.

Go to autozone or whatever....get the dupli-color "caliper paint" kit.it's good.

That's what I used, some hi-temp engine spray paint.

corvettekid82 Your polished aluminum calipers are sick! Post up how you did it and how long it took. I'd love to do mine that way, never seen anything like that before.
