question about throttle body

hay guys i have a question i just put in a 80mm throttle body from bbk . now the guy who put it in dissconted the plugs to instill it now when he put the plugs back in the whole car had to reset it self do you guys think that the power programmer info is still in my computer or did it earse in the cpu . i hope it did not . thanks

It'll still be in there. The car might need a day or two to "relearn" itself, but it'll be fine.

really thanks phantompooper . when the guy was done with it i just took the car back home and did not drive it anymore . and he allso had to cut some of my smooth air bellow becouse it whould not fit on the tb right . will that hurt anything

Nope, hey you ought to check out this website, www.installuniversity.com or let us know when you plan on doing a mod like that again, cause a throttlebody install is really easy and there's no reason for you to pay somebody to do it. We'll walk you through it and answer any questions you have.

Yep it will still be there, just has to relearn the fuel trims

To be installed:Kooks longtubes with catted Y, 3.73's, transgo shift kit and other tranny toys.

To be painted: VFN Sunoco hood, 96-97 SS spoiler and stripes to boot.

ok thanks guys . after he was done with it i went back home and got on it man the car feels more faster on top end and the gas pedal feels a little more stiffer allso
