Exclamation Can I Drill Here?!

Can I drill directly behind the rear seats where the two triangle mounts are? (Flat area between back seats and 'trunk')
... Like maybe put 1" screws in there?

Too deep is venting your fuel tank, I think 3/4" should be ok. Plenty of other people do it.

You will be fine, I personally would use self tapping/drilling screws for the job and use the smallest ones you can find.
