slicks

what is the most common size slick to run on the f-body with stock suspension

26x10.5 or you can run a 28x10.5 but you may have to roll the lip on the wheel well.

i ran on some with my 93 with 174k on it, and mine didnt pop...

You have an LT1...which means less power.....Especially with that mileage.

You were saved by having an A4.. The 10 bolt is gonna die if you have a M6 and a heavy clutch. The factory clutch will usually slip enough to save the ring gear.

If he has an M6 or a Stall converter there is a very good chance he will pop it. Honestly you should be able to hook well enough with a good set of street tires. If not move to a set of drag radials and hope for the best. But you honestly should not need slicks.

I hook pretty good with the dr's, you have to slip the clutch and come out at no more that 3,000, my rear has lasted for many passes this way. problem is doing that you get that 60' bog!!!!!!
