Take a fine piece of sand paper like 240+ grip and use water when sanding and the first coat will come off. Or if your like me you will be too lazy and just order the halo lights.

Fine wet/dry sand paper is at least a 1000 grit to start with, then go to 2000 grit, then 4000 grit and finish with 6000 grit wet/dry. Always use water when sanding and be very gentle.

240 grit wet/dry will eat right through the plastic cover, do not use anything below a 1000 grit wet/dry emory.

I have to do my headlights and stuff......I dunno if I am gunna. If I send you all a contract saying "If it messes them up, I can legally beat you down" will you sign it? ^_^ I don't wanna ruin the Hawk by something dumb like that...

Not only do you need to finish up with a very very fine grit sandpaper, you need to use some buffing compound, otherwise it will look like shyte. I used some 3M buffing compound that I got at Pepboys (right with the sandpaper)...buff the heck out of the sanded headlight and it'll look good as new In fact, mine turned out nicer than new.

Remember..garbage in, garbage out...spend only an hour on one side and it'll look like an hour's worth of work. Spend 3 hours a side like I did, they'll be smoother than the car itself.

Def wetsand and compound...if you don't want to deal with it, hit a local body shop they should be able to take care of it no problem.

Halo lights look nice on the car. I got mine for like $150 on eBay. Then it'll be worth it to clean the halos. =p
