www.SLPonline.com or a GM parts supplier. In the past SLP would ask for SS vin numbers but I don't know if they still do.
The only thing I would get if I was you would be the hood and wing from SLP or GM, all of the others fit like crap. The wheels don't really matter unless you are on stock 16's. Nobody really keeps all the other stuff. I changed out almost everything on mine (suspension, exhaust, wheels). Peace, Craig. |

I agree with CRAGER to a certain extent and that is, you don't have to go to GM to get the hood and spoiler. We do conversions for customers all thetime using hoods and spoilers from RK Sport, and they fit perfectly. The only thing that kind of bugs me is the rear spoiler, it sits about a 1/16" higher towrds the back of the deck lid and has slightly rounded edges, whereas the OEM sits flush with the deck lid and has sharp edges. The hoods are a spot on match and require about the same work as the GM hood to install. As far as the suspension, look to Hotchkis and or Global West if you want all out performance. The SS suspension is marvelous, don't get me wrong, you can definetly tell the difference between the stock Z and an SS's suspension.

The base package for the SS was the hood, deck lid, wheels, and stripes. All the other parts that could come on it were available options ( bilstein shocks, Auburn rear, etc. ) For 02 it did come with a 409 stainless steel muffler standard. The original hood and trunk are available only through gmrestorationparts.com

Also if you want to distinguish yourself from other SS clones....get the SLP Ultra Z hood. You can check out some photos of mine in the gallery....IMHO they are the best looking hoods for Camaros.
See ya on the road, Matt |
