What parts do I need to fit traction control to my 98 Z28?.
Is all the necessary wiring tohgether with circuits already in place?

I am just wondering why you want traction control. That is one of main things I wish my car did not come with. It is a 97 Z28.

So mine has TC also? How do you get rid of it? I don't have the button that the WS-6's have.

P.S. the traction control has saved my A$$ a few times in slick rain. I live in the NorthWest, so it rains ALOT!!!

I personally like it, and if i wanna show off and slip around corners, i just press a button.

Do you have an obtrusive looking thing over your left valve cover black in color?

Correct. The thing LyleA is on about is the throttle adjuster - throttle cable goes into it, another cable runs from it to the throttle body, it has a servo in it that can back off the throttle for traction, also serves as an actuator for the cruise control. Non-TC cars have a different cruise control actuator mounted under the driver's headlamp on the frame rail. My car has as least some of the wiring for the TC, not sure it it's all there. You'll need the actuator, its bracket, dash switch and two new throttle cables. I'd guess there's some programming changes needed to the PCM too.

Traction control almost got my a$$ nailed when I pulled into traffic one time. It was very close. I forgot to turn it off. True, it can be helpful in rain and I'm sure ice also. It's a option. It also adds weight to the car which doesn't matter to some. I personally wouldn't add it, but people that drive underpowered car w/a heavy foot would benefit from it.
