Question about CD player in Z28

Mine has just started skipping big time, whether it is a burned cd or a store bought one. This is totally pissing me off. Anyone else have this problem with the monsoon? (1999 Z28).

i havnt had any problems with mine at all. but im about to upgrade to pioneer. if you have problems i can always sell you mine prety cheap, if u want to keep it stock. not like im gonna need it anymore

jagryo, I'm interested in your factory deck. How much do ou want for it?

I found out what was wrong. I didn't have auto tone on. For some reason if it is not on then my cd's skip.

hey dude well i found that my auto tone had been messed with before i believe that they have problems with it check out the cable behind your deck. and see if there is any problems back there. u can also just disconnect it. its the smaller wire on the drivers side if the sterio was mounted in position. i got a 95 tape deck and a 99z28 cd get back to me if u want it. gyorfi@sbcglobal.net
