Rough Acceleration

My 99z28 has been acting up for the last week. When I accelerate through 1st and 2nd it vibrates a crap load but when i hit 3rd it goes smooth again. The weird thing is when i turn left while accelerateing from a stop and then start driving straight it wont do it, it will drive smooth. Has anyone incountered this problem or knows whats going on please reply.
