thats my problem... i have no clue who i would take it to for that... i don't know any welders or a good exhaust shop in my area. A place like mides or meinikee are the places i know of but i dont think they would make me a custom y-pipe. W/out the cats it wouldnt pass emmissions right?

I have no idea if it would pass, I do not know what the emissions laws are in Georgia. It might still pass.
Here are some more places to look for exhaust stuff.

AMS
LG Motorsports
LM Performance
LS1 Motorsports
Tbyrne
MTI
Raging Motorsports
LS1 Speed

I hope those help.

That sounds like a good idea. All those places I listed should be able to help you find what you are looking for.

The SLP headers are actually a mid length header not a LT. The best header in my mind is right here at the top of the page.

Or the FLPs are very good.

Those headers I linked to on my last post are the Grotyohann headers. Grotyohann went out of business and sold the plans and specs to Thunder Racing.

Macs are excellent headers. The adjustibility of the off-road pipe is great to avoid the banging of FLPs and some others. They are about half the price, and any difference in HP is VERY minimal IMO.

With Nitto DRs, or BFG DRs 3500 RPM dump the clutch, and it will bog a little, then it will pick up and roar. Then POWER SHIFT!
If you have street tires I do not know? Get a set of Nittos!

Two of my friend's SLP headers are long tubes. They go just as far underneath the floor as my other friends that have Hooker long tubes.

yeah mine are regular street tires... how long do the Nitto's last?... i was thinking that when i need new tires ( which will probably be by may or so ) that i was going to put yokohoma's because they seemed decent and cheap. or putting a certian brand on the front and getting new rims that r like 295's instead of 245's and putting sume massive rear tires on there do u guys know long the nitto's last or where i could possibly get a pair of large rims similair to mine ( Mine are the stock 99 Chrome 5-spokes) Which idea would probably be the best way to go ?

The Nittos wear real well if you leave them at 20 psi or so. Depending on how much track time you give them you should get around 10k. The five spokes you have can be matched by getting real ZR1 rear wheel size which is 11 in. Wide enough? Than put a 315 drag radial on the bad boy. You can put 315 on 9 or 91/2 rims, but you wont get the entire tire to make contact. It looks bad though!!Good luck!!

I ran 315/35/17 Nitto drag radials on a 9" rim. It looked good, but they look better on a 11" rim.
