mines a M6, i've got a flowmaster 40 series on it, along w/ the ls1motorsports.com's 310 intake package.... that came w/ a whisper lid, K&N filter, and a Granatelli 85mm MAF. I'm not sure how much all that gave me... but i know it pulled one hell of alot harder once i put all of that on it. NExt i'm thinking of going w/ sume pulleys and maybe headers and a new Y-pipe... then cut-outs... but i don't know what type i'd like to put in... money's usually an issue...But thanks for the #'s , i was thinking somewhere around that... i've hear that the stock Z28's will pull roughly 340 at the flywheel or so..

With those mods you will more than likely see about 308-312 RWHP.
With a Whisper lid, Holley Filter, cutout, free ram air, TB bypass, Free EGR mod, I dynoed 310 RWHP.

Cutout. All the free mods.
Free Ram Air mod
Port and descreen MAF
Free EGR Mod
WOT mod
TB Bypass mod

Then save $ for Hooker LT coated headers, Y pipe, and catback.

do you think going w/ a off-road Y-pipe and putting O2 sim's in it is a good idea... or going w/ a good y-pipe and getting performance cat's w/ it... the car does need to be emmisons legal

As far as that goes, if you have emissions you should run high flow cats, if not don't worry about it and run an off road pipe. I am lucky, I do not have to worry about emissions here.

LTs. I would not personally go with the MACs, because they are only shorties, or mid length, and I don't see the purpose. My philosophy is if you can afford it "Go big or stay home".

The Hooker one would be good if you don't need cats, if you do need cats, I would just make a custom one with high flow cats, all you have to do is get all the peices you will need. Figure this out by taking good measurements, and then taking them to a local exhaust shop and having them put it together for you. I guess I am spoiled, I have several friends that weld, and do all of the exausts for our Car Club/Race Team
